Insurgency Sandstorm launched yesterday and by all accounts it’s really rather great, barring a few performance and optimisation hiccups. New World Interactive’s first-person shooter features a great mix of both co-op military action and also full-blown 16 v 16 competitive multiplayer.

As ever, launch day means launch trailer, so if you’re still sat on the fence with a post up your butt, NWI is taking one final attempt at trying to lure you in.

Insurgency Sandstorm is out now on PC and a console version is expected to arrive on PS4 and Xbox One at some point in 2019. The PC system requirements for Insurgency Sandstorm were only revealed a couple of days ago. It's a very demanding game so be sure to use our Insurgency 2 game page to check estimated performance before you splash the cash.

For those who’ve picked it up, would you recommend Insurgency 2 to new players? And how are you finding the performance so far?
