Dust off your sicks bags, it's time for the most hideously ultraviolent fighter in town to make its comeback. Mortal Kombat 11 comes to PC on April 23rd, 2019, packing rib-cage tearing fatalities and the return of an iconic roster. NetherRealms has done its part and revealed the Mortal Kombat XI PC specs, but can your PC stand its ground?

Mortal Kombat 11 Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-750 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 670 or Radeon HD 7950
  • DX: DirectX 11
  • HDD: TBA Available Hard Drive Space

Mortal Kombat 11 Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DX: DirectX 11
  • HDD: TBA Available Hard Drive Space

There's no mention of these being preliminary specs but we do find it a little odd that the recommended Intel Core i3-2100 CPU is actually weaker than the minimum spec Core i5-750. They are exactly the same as the Injustice 2 specs though. A little oversight from NetherRealms, perhaps, but certainly something to keep an eye on once Mortal Kombat 11 launches. None of the processors are particularly high-end though, so anyone with a fairly modern quad-core shouldn't experience any problems with MK11.

For everything else, the Mortal Kombat XI system requirements are basically identical to Injustice 2's system specs. The only notable change is the minimum RAM for Mortal Kombat 11 has been upped from 4GB to 8GB.

You will need a video card with at least 2GB VRAM in order to run MK11, or a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 570 in order to max out Mortal Kombat 11's graphics settings at 1080p screen resolution.

No installation size has been provided yet but we expect Mortal Kombat 11 to require an estimated 60GB available hard drive storage.

As always, you can check out how well your PC can run Mortal Kombat 11 System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to Mortal Kombat 11 GPU benchmark chart and we also have a Mortal Kombat 11 Frames Per Second system performance chart for you to check.

Probably not the right system requiremenst, we are 4 months to go till the release of the game, i dont think it will be that demanding.

Amazing how requirements get higher and higher yet you barely can notice graphical improvement in some games.

The Mortal Combat X Reveal Trailer is what I call the dream. The Day those graphics are given to me is the day I'll get back to this game cause lets be honest the Classic version (4) is still good enough for me and my mates.

Not strictly talking about Mortal Combat games, but most games overall. Just to make it clear...

I find this requirement a little outdated for a game supposed to be made with a all new graphical engine ??
I bet they will change them, but if t's not the case then hooray for all weak PC's out there everybody can Xray bones !!

That's it? Soul Calibur 6 and Tekken 7 have much higher processor requirements than this with equivalent GPU requirements. Interesting.....
I wonder if certain graphical settings/quality won't be as good as the aforementioned games due to this.
I know this is just a fighting game, but cmon, in 2016, 2017 and 2018 we've had almost every fighting game requiring(for recommended settings) a true quad core at least. Hell...even DBZ fighter Z recommended a true quad(i7 nonetheless).
