January is rapidly turning into a hectic time for fans of Japanese gaming. The likes of Capcom, Square Enix and Bandai Namco like to shy away from Christmas these days, owning the early part of the year instead. It means we've got some massive releases this month, headlined by Resident Evil 2 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3.

One is a total overhaul of one of the most beloved survival horror games of all time, the other has kept fans waiting for well over a decade. It's the month of the remasters, thanks to no fewer than four coming our way, including Resi, Tales of Vesperia, Onimusha and Mario.

That's not all either. We've got a few PC strategy treats in January thanks to At The Gates and Tropico 6, Ace Combat 7 could become another VR selling point, Planetside Arena brings 1000-player battle royale, while YIIK looks like a truly odd JRPG.

Once a quiet time of year for gamers, there's something this month for just about everyone to sink their teeth into.

Anyway, here are all of the biggest and best games coming out over the next four weeks. Get voting for your favourites in the poll below!

Gotta say, i'm missing 2 big games on here. even though they are just new episodes off them. The Walking Dead Episode 3 and Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2 are one's i will be playing.

other than that, might pick up Resident Evil 2 remake :)

Resident Evil 2 most definitely. Whether I get KH3 (I've been waiting for this game forever) will depend on the frame-rate and resolution on Xbox One (Hoping for 60 FPS 1080p). If it can't do that then I'm going to wait (may do this anyway) to see if they bring it to PC like they did FFXV because the director does want to explore other platforms after release (Switch and PC are the only ones left).

I was not expecting Battlefleet Gothic this soon. I really enjoyed the first one and I'm a big fan of 40k universe so this is great.
