Well, Tindalos doesn't look as if it's messing around here. The minimum system specs for BFG: Armada 2 are a fairly hefty jump behind the original Battlefleet Gothic: Armada system requirements, suggesting we're set for rather more than an incremental visual upgrade. That said, these requirements for Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 on PC are still at the low-end for modern titles.

First and foremost you're going to want to pay special attention to the CPUs. BF: Gothic 2- Armada will have some pretty large-scale RTS battles that could prove taxing for weaker CPUs. Tindalos suggests a minimum-spec quad-core Core i3-3450 or AMD FX-6300 and we can't really recommend attempting to play it with something weaker. It may run, it may not, it'll be touch and go.

Aside from this, the minimum spec graphics cards for Battlefleet Gothic 2 have taken a generational leap forward. The GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870 GPUs shouldn't be a problem for the majority of PC gamers though and it's not a particularly big jump when considering this sequel is coming out three years after BFGA. Just make sure you've got 2GB VRAM and you should be all clear.

Perhaps the biggest changes are reserved for the RAM and hard drive demands though. You'll now need 8GB RAM as an absolute minimum, along with another storage space for a 50GB install. This is coming off the back of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, which required just 10GB of available hard drive space.

If you're planning to max out  the visuals in BFG Armada 2 you'll need be a very capable quad-core processor together with a 4GB video card. You'll have to be a little careful on this front as the recommended Nvidia GPU is the GeForce GTX 960. Only a handful of GTX 960's have 4GB VRAM so perhaps a more modern GeForce GTX 1050 could be more suitable. Ah, and one last thing, 16GB RAM is recommended. That's definitely on the high end, and considering Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 can run with 8GB we don't actually expect you to need anywhere near 16GB memory.
