We’re barrelling toward E3 2019 at a frankly scary pace, with around 100 days to go until we expect the first conference to begin. Who’s going to be there? Well, Sony won’t be. But we imagine plenty of folks will be pleased to know a little known game called Cyberpunk 2077 will be present and correct.

CD Projekt RED has confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 will be at E3 2019 with a message from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account. “For those of you asking, yes, we will be at E3 this year,” read the brief message.

I, for one, am shocked. Who could’ve seen this coming? Now that you’ve finished picking your jaw up from the floor, let’s turn our attention to what we can expect.

Last year at E3 2018, Cyberpunk 2077 was re-revealed during Microsoft’s Xbox conference. A couple of months later, we then got a massive 45-minute gameplay demo showcase at Gamescom. This time around, we reckon Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be ready for some actual hands-on time for attendees. A 2019 launch still sounds incredibly optimistic but Cyberpunk 2077 will have enjoyed an extra year of development time since we last saw it, and it should now be nearer the finished article.

What are your expectations for the next Cyberpunk 2077 blowout? On course for a downgrade or are you hoping to even bigger and better things? Let us know!
