CD Projekt RED has sent hype sky high with a claim to investors that E3 2019 will be the most important in the company’s history.

Adam Kiciński, CDPR CEO, said during yesterday’s annual investor conference the developer will have a very strong showing at E3 this year, outstripping last year’s Cyberpunk 2077 re-reveal and that E3 2013 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt reveal.

Asked by investors whether E3 would be the ideal time and place to reveal release dates for upcoming titles, their answer was yes. We’re not too keen to put the cart before the horse here but a release date window announcement for Cyberpunk 2077 has to be a strong possibility, at least.

On top of this, CD Projekt RED also recently confirmed it planned to launch not one, but two AAA titles by the end of 2021. One of those being Cyberpunk is a given. The other is shrouded in mystery. This raises the spectre of a double salvo from CDPR at E3 2019; a Cyberpunk 2077 release date announcement and the reveal of a new game.

The obvious choice for another game is something set in The Witcher universe. The Witcher 4 has been fairly comprehensively ruled out but that doesn’t mean we can’t get a spin-off or a new protagonist.

What are your expectations from CDPR at E3 this year? And when do you think Cyberpunk 2077 is going to launch? Let us know what your predictions are below!
