Reports are in that despite having to wait a third of a year longer than our console brethren for this freerunning sequel it wont actually support DX10 or DX11. In fact, there seems to be very little that will actually separate the PC version from the console one.

Not sure what DX10/DX11 are?

In short they are the tech in modern windows operating systems (Vista=Dx10/ Win 7=DX11) that enable the pc to deliver superior graphics. A game has to be coded specifically to make use of these which takes developers longer but delivers eye bursting splendors when done correctly, which in turn can elevate PC gaming beyond the toys.

So our question is, without improvements over the console release why would we have to wait longer?

The answer we all fear is that the PC gamer really is regarded as a second class player.

Throw us a bone here Ubi, make sure the game doesnt feel like you have smushed the console code into the PC platform as an after thought to make a few extra bucks.

I tell you faithful gaming buddies "That I have faith. They wont let us down."

Pop over to our forum and let me know your thoughts and, heaven forbid, if you think I am wrong to keep the Ubisoft faith...
