The naughty so and so's have been teasing it for a while, but Sega has finally confirmed the obvious - Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to Steam. The Dragon of Dojima makes his triumphant return on the third outing in the services to come to PC, continuing the epic tale of Tokyo’s warring clans.

Continuing directly on from Yakuza Kiwami, so some light SPOILERS there, the fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan is assassinated, leaving Kiryu to pick up the players and attempt to reunite the feuding clans.

That’s just the serious stuff though, and in between knocking heads Kiryu Kazuma will accidentally become a nude model, play plenty of Virtua Fighter, getting in a massed brawl with goons dressed as babies, and, er, fighting a tiger. You know, the usual Yakuza stuff.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 has been built in the new Dragon Engine. First used for Yakuza 6 on PS4, this engine was not used for the PC versions of Yakuza Zero and Yakuza Kiwami. It should, in theory, mean Kiwami 2 is comfortably the best-looking Yakuza game on PC yet, which also means a big step up in the system requirements.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 comes to PC through Steam on May 9th.

Shoutout to ENTLVL820m for spotting this one!
