Revealed all the way back in 2017, Fade to Silence has lived a life of relative obscurity in Steam Early Access ever since. The open-world survival RPG set in an eternal winter is set to evolve into its final form in just a weeks’ time though, leaving Early Access and coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on April 30th.

To celebrate the announcement, THQ Nordic has revealed the new ‘Where is My Mind’ trailer for Fade to Silence, providing what’s actually a fairly absorbing peek at this adventure.

Fade to Silence pits the player versus nature in harsh frozen world filled with icy river deltas, snowy farmlands, and eerily quiet forests. There’s a story of sorts to work through, and players can recruit followers out in the wilderness in order to acquired better gear and take on more dangerous monsters.

Wolf Sled Expeditions sound like the best use of your time though, allowing players to pack a sled with supplies, take a follower, some good boy wolves, and tackle long-term expeditions to the far reaches of Fade to Silence’s world.

Fade to Silence hits PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 30th, 2019, priced at £34.99 / 39,99 € / $39.99 on PC, and £44.99 / 49,99 € / $49.99 on console.
