In thoroughly unsurprising news, but it’s good to have it confirmed all the same, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella has pledged we’ll see the first gameplay from the eagerly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order during EA’s Play event at E3 2019.

“Happy #StarWarsDay! This year it's extra special for @Respawn as the team works hard to ship Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in November,” tweeted Zampella. “Loved the reaction to the reveal trailer. Can’t wait to show you gameplay at E3/EA Play in June! #MayThe4thBeWithYou”

Last month the first official trailer was revealed from SWJ: Fallen Order, showcasing a rip-roaring sci-fi action-adventure that was high on flashiness yet sadly bereft of gameplay. What we do know is it’ll be a galaxy-trotting adventure with a 100% focus on a single-player, narrative-driven quest to rebuild the Jedi Order following the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will feature strategic lightsaber combat designed to mimic the cinematic look of the movie’s biggest saber battles, as well as plenty of exploration and puzzle-solving elements. On paper, Fallen Order is shaping up to be something really rather special indeed, particularly with the talented folks at Respawn behind it. Now we’re just itching to see the thing in action, although we’ve only got five weeks to wait now.

Publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed Star Wars Jedi - Fallen Order will be launching on November 15th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. EA's E3 Play event will run from June 7-9.

Its hard to trust anything EA has to show. Ill be saving my money till well into the multiple launch days that EA inevitably has planned for this.

Didn't EA back out of E3? They said they weren't gonna attend this year's E3 along with Sony.

EA is going to be doing a series of live streams (EA Play) over the course of E3 instead of leading with a conference like usual.

This isn't just a cinematic trailer, this is what the game's graphics actually look like.

If the story and its delivery are as good as that in Titanfall 2, then we might have an excellent game on our hands. I guess it depends on how much EA will interfere with the development process and story writing.

I hope it will be better than Anthem.

Well, it's not Bioware which has pretty much fallen from what grace they had. Respawn hasn't been broken by EA...yet. xD
