Since Game of Thrones ended, you’ve probably been tragically short of dwarves in your life. So was SpellForce 3, at least until tomorrow when the Dwarven faction arrives as part its new standalone Soul Harvest expansion.
The Dwarves and the Dark Elves form the two new the two new playable factions in SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest. You can find more on the Dark Elf faction here.
In this unique RTS/RPG hybrid, the Dwarves are armed with an array of flying hot air balloon units, mountain giants, and fearsome underground bases. Each of the new factions have unique units and mechanics, while Soul Harvest introduces a sector-based system for global resource distribution. Resources are earned dependent on the sector and is then transported via minecarts back to the base. Playing into the real-time strategy element, these resources must then be carefully conquered and set up in order to provide reliable supply lines.
SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest is out tomorrow, May 28th, for PC. It’s priced at $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99 and doesn’t require the base game to play.
