A remaster of the 2009 Ghostbusters game is one of the more odd releases to come out this year, but who we to resist some Slimer action. Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered promises to be the same game we know and sort-of-enjoyed, this time with enhanced visuals and all that 4K goodness we've come to expect these days. Ghostbusters is a decade old now, and this remastered version doesn't look to be all that much more than a bit of a spit and polish for PC gamers. A few higher resolution textures here, better character models there, and hey presto, remaster!
This is good news in a way though, particularly for those on low-end machines. Ghostbusters Remastered's minimum specs should be simple to match even for folks who haven't upgraded in a good four or five years. A low-end GeForce GT 630 or Radeon R7 240 is all that's required, along with a low-end dual-core processor and just 4GB RAM. As we said, this will run on just about anything.
Things obviously change significantly for Ghostbusters Remastered's recommended system requirements, although there's still nothing there to make a modern system so much as break a sweat. The GTX 670 and Radeon R9 380 are relatively mid to low-end by today's standards, although you will need a moderately feisty quad-core processor should you want to enjoy higher frame rates in Ghostbusters.
And, er, one final thing to watch out for - Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is an Epic Store exclusive. There's no word on whether it's a timed exclusive or a permanent exclusive just yet, and there's certainly no mention of a Steam version.

Ugh... There goes my hopes and dreams... Best I can wish for now is for it to be a timed exclusive... X-X
PC Specs
To this day I haven t bought any game from the epic crap store and nothing changes. I won t support that sh*t.

Ugh! Another effing exclusive for no reason. I own the original on Steam, s why make it exclusive? Hopefully it's only for a little while, because the game itself is sooooo much fun. I agree with a lot of the fans and say that it's the 3rd movie. If it comes to Steam, I'll probably buy it, even though I rarely buy remastered games.
PC Specs
I think it's obvious why it's an exclusive.
PC Specs
of course it's an epic exclusive, why wouldn't it be >.>
PC Specs
Why do they keep bothering with ghostbusters? It's just wierd...
PC Specs
Say what you want about the new movie(s), but that Ghostbusters game (aka, the 3rd movie) was amazing. The fact that it's an epic store exclusive is honestly what's weird imo. The original is on Steam, so why make it an exclusive is beyond me.

Money? As in bigger price cut, or bigger price cut and extra cash?
PC Specs
Sorry, that was meant to be more rhetorical. Hard to get that across via text. lol

Yes, often times it is. And it sucks more for the person that is trying to be rhetorical or sarcastic, turst me I know very well. :D
