Announced at E3 2019, Ubisoft’s Uplay+ is the latest contender to step into the subscription gaming fray. Ubisoft has now revealed the full 100+ line-up of games coming to its monthly subscription service.
Unsurprisingly, Uplay+ is launching with pretty much every Ubisoft digital title you can think of, ranging from the ultimate editions of upcoming titles like Watch Dogs Legion and Ghost Recon Breakpoint through to classic franchises like Prince of Persia, Brothers in Arms, Might & Magic, The Settlers, and more.
It’s not quite a complete list though, missing a few smaller titles such as Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Werewolves Within, older Trackmania titles, Call of Juarez, and a smattering of others. Overall it’s a comprehensive package, although it’s still going to be hard to justify spending up to $180 a year on this unless you’re an absolutely die-hard Ubisoft fan.

The two big things that separate both Xbox Game Pass and, to a lesser degree EA Access, is price and depth of offerings. Game Pass on PC is about ⅓ the price of Uplay+ and offers more than a hundred games from dozens and dozens of different developers and publishers. Ubisoft’s focus is very narrow, currently only offering its own published wares. It’ll definitely be the cheapest way to play Ubisoft’s newer titles though, provided you don’t mind not owning them.
Uplay+ launches on PC from September 3rd, priced at $14.99 per month.
Do you think uplay+ could be great value for money? Or is it just one more in a growing pile of pricey subscription services?

I think at the very least they should do what EA does (gasp!) and offer an annual option which halves the cost over paying 12 x 1 month fees. For example £90 a year for Origin access premier but monthly would cost £180 over twelve months (same as Uplay+).
It would be a much better deal at that price for people who will already own the games they wanted from this list and would be more interested in the new games.
PC Specs
ea Origin Access has titles by Warner Bros that are rather interesting and its much cheaper as well
PC Specs
yeah they've got quite a lot of different publishers on there now. Wonder if Ubisoft will try the same thing
PC Specs
i bet they'll make this the premium version and make a cheaper version that gets the latest games after 6 months and same with the dlc 6 months later or something (ubisoft is doing great work with their game support so i'm still interested)
PC Specs
In Eastern Europe it's 15 EUR which is almost $17.No.Deal.
PC Specs
15 dollars for ubisofr only games that we already have every single one of them we were interrested in and 0 appealing 3rd party titles ? M E H
PC Specs
So basically they just put every game they've made in the last 20 years on this list? Tbh I'm not overly impressed with this list. I guess bc I never found Ubi games to be that impressive in the first place. You look at Xbox Game Pass, which has 100+ games from dozens of developers, so if you don't like how one studio does a game, you have a dozen other you can try. But so many Ubi games feel the same. Most of their open world games are like cookie cutters of the one that came before it. Plus $15 a month for mostly 5+ year old games is not appealing.
PC Specs
Look at all these games that they want to take ownership out of! :D
Seriously, DON'T DO IT...
PC Specs
I own 2/3rd of those games and most of those that I don't I have 0 interest in owning them.
AC series, PoP series, Rayman series, R6 series, SC series, Far Cry series, Anno series, South park games, BiA series, Some Might and magic games, beyond good and evil, For honor, I got all of them or almost all of them for some, for example I didn't buy new dawn as it seemed like a worse castrated version of FC5 and I don't have AC Odyssay and one or two from the other series.
PC Specs
Meh origin is cheaper.
PC Specs
Lots of people aren't satisfied i guess... It could be a bit cheaper for sure... But from my point of view(as someone who didn't play AC:Odyssey, Far Cry 4 and 5 that I'm planing to) i would be fine with paying 15$ and finish all those 3 games in a single month then simply cancel the sub.
PC Specs
If I could just eat, sleep, game and bathroom for a year with no worries, this would be an amazing deal.
But as it stands, this is up there with using my unmentionables to connect the posts on a car battery.
PC Specs
No, thanks. UbiSoft is on my boycott list alongside EA and Bethesda. Will not buy a game from them because they don’t trust honest PC video gamers. Not a fan of Tom Clancy, Assassin’s Creed or Might & Magic.
PC Specs
Such a terrible list. Ubisoft seriously lacks creativity since I don't even know... 2009.
PC Specs
$10 would be better
PC Specs
Knock a zero off and we're talking
PC Specs
+1 for that lol
PC Specs
now that i think of it Ubisoft should have their own Treasure hunter Game Like TomB RaideR+Uncharted they make beautiful 3rd person Games with Amazing fluid animations and large exploareable worlds. Imagine the chaos
PC Specs
15$ is too much for it.
PC Specs
Any games on there that I would play, I already own, so no I don't want to pay monthly to play them.
PC Specs
But then again, the new watchdogs will cost around 60$ meaning you can play that game for four months for the same price with uplay+ and the DLC's and other upcoming games. I already own most games I wanted to play on the list however in the long run it might be a good option
PC Specs
All I can see that interest me is I AM ALIVE AND ASSASSINS CHRONICLES Series+SYNDICATE(own the rest)and maybe Gods and Monster. I intend to pick up Breakpoint since i enjoy wildlands but yeah thats it
PC Specs
& finally GOG will emerge as the only option for the salvation of all the gamers in the world.
PC Specs
It looks like the universe is helping the GOG in mysterious ways. rofl.
PC Specs
It's really convenient with managing library, but I still need to have epic launcher running in the background and buy games from there before launching them which kinda is the problem in the first place :(
PC Specs
i would consider it if it was something like $10 a month
