Those of you expecting a Cyberpunk 2077 blowout at Gamescom 2019 were probably left feeling a little disappointed, but the Stadia Connect event played host to some enlightening snippets of gameplay.

It’s not the sort of place we expected CD Projekt RED to debut some lovely new Cyberpunk 2077 content but we’re glad for it all the same. There are a couple of videos to gaze over, including a brief one that’s gameplay and a second dev diary that’s also got plenty of new gameplay tidbits to analyse.

Most interestingly though, we get a look at how Cyberpunk 2077 will genuinely look during gameplay, complete with a fully working UI, quest markers and the like. It’s a more realistic account of what we can expect from CP2077 when compared to that 40-minute gameplay video we got this time last year. It’s still looking every bit as ambitious but it now it feels much more representative of the final product.

This also happens to be the first confirmation that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Google Stadia, if you happen to want to stream 2020’s most anticipated game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on April 16th, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.

Cyberpunk will be a very good game, but this is something we all know. What amaze me is that a lot of players are not fully aware that before Cyberpunk there is a game as good that "somehow" is "slipping" the the press coverage and is The Outer Worlds made by an "unknown" studio by the name of Obsidian. Is just the Mass Effect Andromeda and the Fallout 4 we never had but mixed and with a good story and meaningful choices. Out there are 3 "INDIE" big studios left and are: CD Projekt, Obsidian and Platinum Games, the only devs worthy of blind pre order.

well Ill say this again Game Streaming is going to end up becoming really big in the future but the input lag and streaming service cost + actual game cost is something they will have to figure out or else console/PC rent out will kill them

i remember Xbox rumors about console rent outs whatever happened to that? i really see that becoming a huge success unless they figure out a solution to the obvious (fraud) guessing a deposit a massive deposit shall solve the issue? but the

then again it will kinda make the whole point of cheap gaming dead if your gonna have a huge deposit unless you can eventuly transfer the entire deposit into the game pass or for digital purchase and get a massive discount on the console 6

Google : Can we have your awesome game on our platform and make a big deal out of it?

CDPR : Okay, just like all other platforms then.

Yeah the same could be said about bioware before dragon age 2 and me3 etc etc. Im sorry but dont blindly trust developers even if they have a good track record or reputation as any dev can make a terrible game. Im not saying this will happen with cyberpunk but dont hang past achievements as it somehow points to the fut

A track record is the only way to have any idea if a game dev is any good, and if it's good, it's better than no track record or a bad one. It's why resumes are still popular for job applications. Looking at the track record is precisely not blind trust, it's informed trust. So yeah, past achievements, while no guarantee, can definitely point to the future, and often do. Of course, you don't have to trust, and that's fine too, i guess.

@HankBaxter my point is simply great game devs have made bad games. It happens...thinking that a game will be good just by looking at a companies past work is nothing but assumption and speculation even if "informed". Job interviews arent the same as the entertainment industry you got countless examples out there
