Greedfall's new 14 minute long walkthrough trailer opens up the world of Teer Fradee, letting gamers take a closer look at what this new fantasy title has to offer.
An island seeping with magic, filled with lost treasures and beset by mythical creatures, Greedfall lets the player explore a new land with a handful of companions that will enable what the developers, Spiders describe as a core roleplaying experience. Where you will lean on your party to help choose and complete quests through a combination of combat, deception, diplomacy and stealth.
The game has the player party up with their cousin, governor Constantin D’Orsay [voice acted by the Brit Ben Lloyd-Hughes, known for his roles in the 2014 film Divergent], while looking to join a variety of factions, each with their own secret agendas, all the while journeying ever further into these new lands. Discovering that new colonies are taking hold the player will be faced with tough choices, join a the settlers or perhaps side with the islands original inhabitants.
This has all the hallmarks of your classic action RPG, where you can level up your character, choose new spells, abilities and skills while delving in to the mysteries of the island. You can branch out into firearms, alchemy, magic among other things.
Greedfall lets the player party setup camp as they travel the island looking for adventure, where in camp they can move to the workbench and customise their gear or perhaps spend some valuable time building relationships with their companions.

Greedfall is attempting to ring the bells of the next big RPG. "Filling in for Bioware" has been mentioned a few times already around the gaming journos as currently we have seen little in this genre space for a while. Fingers crossed it manages to live up to the hype.
Greedfall will be releasing on September 10th on PS4 XBox One and PC. Its pre-purchase price over on Steam at the moment is £43.99 in the UK and $49.99 in the US.
