Need For Speed Heat is the return of EA's classic racing franchise. This time we take to the streets of a fictional version of Miami for a host of illegal street races and both day and night racing. Like just about any NFS, Need For Speed Heat will at the very least look fantastic. Here are the official system specs needed to run NFS Heat.
Need For Speed: Heat Minimum System Requirements

- CPU: Intel Core i3-3570 4-Core 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-6350 6-Core 3.9 GHz
- RAM: 8 GB System Memory
- GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
- GPU: GeForce GTX 760 or Radeon R9 280X
- HDD: 50 GB Available Hard Drive Space
- DX: DirectX 11
Need For Speed: Heat Recommended System Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 4-Core 3.6 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 4-Core 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 16 GB System Memory
- GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory

Functionally, we expect NFS Heat to be running on roughly the same version of the Frostbite game engine as 2017's Need For Speed Payback. Two years really isn't all that long between sequels and it means we've ended up with very similar specs and, all likelihood, similar visuals and performance. But, we should imagine a lot of folks have little idea about NFS: Payback's performance as it was, like a good chunk of Need For Speed titles, a fairly bad game. Need For Speed: Heat will be looking to buck the worrying trend.
But what the series has always had on its side are some great visuals. You'll be wanting to run NFS: Heat at 60 frames per second so it's important you adapt your settings accordingly. It's more important to have a stable frame rate in a racing game than it is to crank the graphics settings up.
Electronic Arts is suggesting Need For Speed Heat will requirea Radeon RX 580 4GB graphics card with a Core i7-4790 4-Core 3.6GHz or Ryzen R3 1300X processor to reach the recommended specs, which will achieve high graphics setting on 1080p screen resolution. 16 GB will also be needed to achieve the Need For Speed Heat rec specs and get 60FPS.
It's recommended you have a graphics card which is at least as powerful as a GeForce GTX 760/Radeon R9 280X paired with FX-6350/Core i5-3570 3.4GHz CPU to match the min specs. This PC setup will deliver 30 Frames Per Second at Low graphics setting on 720p resolution.
As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the Need For Speed Heat System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarks and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Need For Speed Heat GPU benchmark chart and we also have an Need For Speed Heat Frames Per Second system performance chart for you to check.

EA really needs to bring this franchise back to par like the most wanted days, it deserves better than what we've got for last few installments.
PC Specs
maybe they are waiting for new generation of consoles, or the upcoming cloud-based gaming?
I mean, what more they can do with the same game engine and limitations of underpowered xbone and ps...
Forza series are ruling racing game world now
PC Specs
Right now, i dig the how Day/Night cycle affects the gameplay like Dyinglight does the high and risk high reward during night time.
PC Specs
woah. that min spec seems a tad high for the CPU. i5-3570 for 720p30 Low means my processor will struggle to play this at 1080p. well we'll see. wonder how soon i'll need to upgrade the CPU, which then means i have two options - either a bare-bones cpu-only upgrade to a xeon e3 1240v2 or a bigger upgrade - motherboard + cpu + ram.

Well then stop believing game-debate posts. Only system requirements are official. Other information like "this will run game 720p 30fps low" is bs which author made up. Look at official sources. Don't trust game-debate.
PC Specs
plus system requirements weren't even copied properly cause recommended is rx480, not rx580 and there is no mention of vram...
PC Specs
Great, another garbage NFS game, just what we need
PC Specs
It is not about if my system can run it... It is more about why do I want to run it? NFS had been suck for ages....
PC Specs
Imo, graphics have finally caught up to the point where I can safely say, work more on the gameplay from a development standpoint. Although I love the eye candy :D
PC Specs
seeing the requirements, game will be probably just refurbished NFS Payback,
glad to see "internet connection" is not listed in requirements ;)
PC Specs
Don't care about game, but rating system requirements 10/10 because of my PC ;D
PC Specs
minimum req i3 3570 or i5
PC Specs
i5 'cause i3 3570 simply doesn't exists
But the graphics card will be the most important like Payback
PC Specs
very similar to RDR2 requirements, quite well optimization I say
