Global Game Awards 2019 Results: Best In Gaming

Written by Jon Sutton on Thu, Dec 5, 2019 2:50 PM

As another year comes to a close we celebrate the best and brightest lights in the gaming world with our annual Global Game Awards. This year was probably one of the tightest years we've ever seen. The quality has been remarkably high across the board and there were no obvious winners, with some categories finishing perilously close.

Voting in the Global Game Awards 2019 is now closed and we're delighted to announced all of the winners.  Thousands upon thousands of you have been casting your votes in dozens of ballots, giving you the final say on what you think are the best games out in 2019.

Here we celebrate the best that gaming had to offer this year, ending up with one of the most varied lists of winners we've ever had. If you're looking for your next game to play, this list right here of the best games in 2019 is a heck of a place to start.

Whether it's remasters of horror classics, top tier storytelling, chaotic co-operative multiplayer, or fun for all the family, there's something for everyone. Here we present the Best in Gaming awards and remember, you can head over to the Global Game Awards 2019 page itself to see a vote breakdown by percentage:

What? best open world death stranding? that game is filled with rocks and kilometers of nothing to do other than balancing the weight, crossing rivier, peeing everywhere, upvoting music posts and climbing, and not to mention you do almost the same quest over and over 40 hrs of walking on an empty world and 10 of actual interesting stuff
