A cursory glance at some Dragon Quest Builders 2 screenshots and gameplay footage will tell you much of what you need to know. This isn't a massively demanding game, nor is it trying to be a graphical powerhouse. It means DQB2 has some very modest system specs, including a low-end dual-core processor and an entry-level DirectX 11 video card such as a GeForce GT 640 or Radeon HD 7750. Just about any modern graphics card, including integrated graphics (iGPUs) can comfortably surpass this level of performance.
If you meet the minimum specs for Dragon Quest Builders 2 you will be able to run the game 30 frames per second on 1280x720p screen resolution and the Low graphics preset.
For whatever reason, the AMD CPU doesn't change between the minimum and recommended spec. It's a low-end Ryzen, specifically the 1300X, and the Intel CPU for the recommended is a high-end but very old Core i7-3770. You could switch this out for a modern lower-end Intel CPU from the 7th, 8th, or 9th Gen and it should be perfectly fine. There is a huge leap in terms of graphics though, with Square Enix suggesting either a GTX 1060 or a Radeon RX Vega 56. This is a big mismatch though, and a Radeon RX 480 will surely be capable of doing the job as well.
Dragon Quest Builders 2's recommended system requirements will be suitable for running the game at 1080p (1920x1080) screen resolution on the High graphics preset at 60 FPS.
