While fantasy fans wait for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" to emerge from its sleepy burrow, Traveller's Tales have given us another elf-heavy Lego game to keep us busy in the meantime.

We're big fans of Tolkien stuff here at GD, and even better if it's made out of plastic bricks. Let's have a look at the Lego The Lord of the Rings System Requirements and see if it'll run on your system...

Lego The Lord of the Rings System Requirements

OS: MS Windows XP SP3, Vista, or Windows 7

CPU: Dual Core CPU @ 2GHz (Pentium D or better)

RAM: 1GB Memory

HD: 8 GB free Hard drive space

GPU: NVIDIA 7600, 7800, 8800 GT or ATI Radeon HD 1950 or higher

Audio: 16-bit Sound Card

Ok so pretty easy going then. As always if you get this running on your rig then pop over to our Ratings page and add your FPS scores so everyone can check out the real world requirements.

I think you actually can use it, if you make enough vent holes and provided it's sturdy enough of course...
