2K's yearly outing in the basketball sports genre is launching next month with NBA 2K21, and whilst they always look pretty good with a decent coating of realistic-looking sweat on everyone's foreheads, the PC version has been reported to be the current-gen console version. So how demanding is it? Will the NBA 2K21 system specs make our PCs sweat like the players? Or are they relatively accessible? We dive in and take a look at the official NBA 2K21 PC system requirements...

NBA 2K21 minimum system requirements

NBA 2K21 recommended system requirements

In order to run the NBA 2K21 recommended specs you will require a Radeon R9 270 or GeForce GTX 770 graphics card with a Core i5-4430 or FX-8370 processor, achieving 60fps on high graphics setting at 1080p. For your PC to completely meet the recommended requirements you will also need 8GB system memory.

In order to run the minimum system requirements for NBA 2K21 your PC will require at least a GeForce GTS 450 or Radeon HD 7770 GPU with a Core i3-530 or FX-4100 CPU and 4GB of RAM. This will return an average of 60 frames per second on Low graphis settings at 1080p.

As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the NBA 2K21 System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarks and performance from other users. They get to show off their "next-gen" for a year on consoles before being demolished by PCs. Enjoy while it lasts

Lets see how much more can 2k ruin this franchise. Previous 2k20 went full casino mode, wonder what this one will bring??

I’m sure next year’s game will have a new engine because of the releases of the PS5 and Xbox Series X. If you like playing gambling simulators full of micro transactions with a bonus basketball game thrown in, go on ahead.
