Ahhh, smell that? That’s the sweet smell of rotting flesh and burnt giblets, a staple of the zombie-slaying genre of video games. This weekend marks the free Open Beta for the upcoming Back 4 Blood, and we want to know what are your thoughts on it so far!
So if you haven’t jumped into the Back 4 Blood Beta already, then quickly do so now as it will be over soon! And it’s free so why not? Then come back and let’s have a chat about what you think. Is this really a spiritual Left 4 Dead 3? Or has Valve’s iconic series been left for dead… forgotten and defiled?
That may be a bit extreme, but that’s the whole point of these debates: to get the story on both sides. B4B has been hyped up ever since its announcement due to the overwhelming and insatiable hunger for another co-op zombie shooter to fill the shoes of the L4D franchise, so has it been able to live up to expectations?
Give us the rundown of your thoughts on the Back 4 Blood Beta. Be brutal if you want to, rip into its flesh. Or provide some light for those looking to find hope in the darkest of nights. It honestly feels like an inferior version of L4D and L4D2 in almost every way....games that were released over a decade ago. Don't really see any reason to play this even if they'd give it for free

I mean it runs really really well. The gameplay was literally L4D. Graphics are decent enough. I didn't run into any of bugs really. The AI teammates are really dumb.. Like.... REALLY dumb. Worse than L4D AI ever was lol. The game actually does get quite difficult. I mean.. it's going on game pass.. I have game pass. I like zombies. I'll give it a full playthrough with some friends.

Waste of space on your computer. Literally so boring, uninspired, extremely buggy. The game has some serious problems with connectivity and lag of the AI. It's hilarious how L4D2 - being so old.. works so much, much better than this brand new game. It's almost like a bad P2P connection of some sort.

me and my friend just finished it and its a messy disapontment(was about to post a bench blog about it but that dosnt work anymore), zombies have no ragdoll physics and no colision so they can pass thru each other and players also there throwables pass thru them so you cant use canisters like in l4d to knock them off, a lot of them are buggy as they can pass/jump thru the walls and buildings also, most of the special zombies cant be tell from the rest of the normal ones so in hordes you can hear characters saying that the special is there but you cant see him, there is also that pointless CoD WW2 lobby like area that serves no purpose, not to mention there are perk cards that you earn or buy thru the game, friendly AI is so much worser then l4d ones constantlly getting stuck and shoot at empty walls, atleast the peformance is good

They should make it so you can directly see the results, or implement a button for it. Forcing people to vote so they can see the result will only lead to people pressing "something" in order to see what others think.
