Up For Debate - What do you think of Vampire The Masquerade Bloodhunt so far?

This week marked a brand new game entering the Battle Royale genre space, and one that has had fans pretty divided even since its initial reveal. But is it able to stand out amongst the crowd after so many have already come before and seemingly perfected the genre?

Despite virtually no advertizing up until its Early Access launch, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt has been able to pull in some decent player numbers. Who knows whether it will stay like that in the future, but that all depends on how players interact with it and what kind of changes the developers will make in response to player feedback.

Regardless, we want to know whether you’ve played it and what you think of it! Essentially, this is just a discussion about whether VTM Bloodhunt is different enough from other BR games to survive and entice new players, and what can be done if it hasn’t quite hit the mark.

Currently, Bloodhunt is sitting on a “Mixed” review score on Steam, but is actually close to reaching a “Mostly Positive” score soon. It seems that overall players are enjoying it, but there are certain issues that will need to be addressed. Thankfully, the game is still in Early Access, so we can expect a little roughness around the edges. It just depends on how Sharkmob chooses to handle it going forward.

What do you think? Have you played Vampire The Masquerade Bloodhunt? What did you think of it? Was it fun? What did you like and dislike? Is it a worthy addition to the Battle Royale genre? And will you be playing it again? Let’s debate!

Why even make an RPG game into a battle royal, its already going to hurt cuz its so unsuited but it also didn't get even mentioned until videos where shown close to its release. Focus on the actual game your basing it off of first THEN think about other stuff ffs. I swear ever since they got rid of the head creators they feel like they can milk it for all it worth :/

After playing for a couple of hours i can safely say that this is not at all a bad game, considering it is also free to play - it is actually quite good tbh. I'm normally not a huge fan of BRs, but this one looks nice, plays nice, has interesting mechanics. The only gripe i have currently is how long it takes to get from lobby into the match (i also have a decent enough SSD so that shouldn't be an issue).
