We’re just a couple weeks away from October, and you know what that means… not long now until Christmas! But before then, Halloween is also coming, which means be prepared for all sorts of spooks and scares from the games industry, including the upcoming next entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology.

Thankfully, if you’ve been excited for or even a little skeptical of The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes, Bandai Namco has kindly provided 20 minutes of gameplay along with commentary from the Game Director, Will Doyle, who “reveals developer secrets and inspirations” as well as looking at exactly how different choices can have different outcomes.

House of Ashes is the latest in The Dark Pictures Anthology, an interactive series of Horror stories each told by the mysterious figure known as The Curator. As with all Dark Pictures games it's very likely it will end with a teaser for the next game. So far Supermassive Games has been on a mediocre streak, so we’ll have to wait and see whether the next instalment is just as good or better than the previous entries.

What do you think? Are you excited for The Dark Pictures House of Ashes? Have you played the previous games? Let us know!

Will you be playing some Horror games come October?
