A new patch for PC players has just been released to address mouse stuttering issues in Arkane’s latest time-looping adventure. The new update aims to address the issue that players were experiencing when using a mouse and keyboard over a controller. However, issues with stuttering at high frame rates are still being investigated.
The latest patch for Deathloop apparently “addresses an issue experienced by some players on PC whereby mouse-based camera movement could result in the appearance of 'stutter.'” So if you’ve been experiencing issues regarding this then hopefully the latest update will fix that for you.
Despite the generally positive critical reception of Deathloop, many online have complained about stuttering issues on PC. As it turns out, this partly had to do with using a mouse instead of a controller, but another issue with stuttering at high frame rates was also reported, the latter of which Arkane is currently investigating further.
Hopefully the next patch for high frame rate stuttering will come out soon for those who want to play above 60fps, but for now to be safe you should try and cap Deathloop to 60fps. Additionally, let us know if the latest patch has fixed mouse stuttering for you! Or if it hasn’t fixed the problem at all.
What do you think? Have you been experiencing mouse stuttering with Deathloop recently? Are you still experiencing it after the latest patch? Or has that fixed it now? Let us know!
