The Fatal Frame series has always been a bit of a weird one, but certainly still beloved by many Horror fans to say the least. This year finally sees the release of a Wii U exclusive titles making its way to PC and consoles, and lucky for us Koei Tecmo have also released the official PC system requirements along with a PC release date.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is finally launching on PC on October 28th 2021. The official Steam page is finally up, and Koei Tecmo have also revealed the performance expectations, which sees the minimum specs achieving 30-60fps performance (with occasional drops in some places) at 720p resolution, or 60fps at 1080p resolution for the recommended.

So let's dive in and take a look at the official Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water system requirements...

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water requires a GTX 960 or RX 570 graphics card paired with either a Core i7-2600 or FX-8370 processor in order to reach the recommended system requirements, achieving 60fps performance on high graphics settings at 1080p. You will also need at least 8GB of RAM.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water needs a GPU that is at least as powerful as a GTX 660 or RX 550 coupled with a Core i7-750 or Phenom II X4 B65 CPU in order to match the minimum system requirements. This PC setup should then deliver around 30-60 Frames Per Second on Low graphics setting at 720p resolution. Minimum RAM requirements are 4GB system memory.

Overall, looking at the specs above, we suggest at least a 4 year old PC in order to play Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water smoothly.
