Despite being a console exclusive, The Last of Us franchise has seen critical appeal from fans, but those fans are also desperate for more. Thankfully, Naughty Dog will be holding an event tomorrow known as The Last of Us Day, where they will also be announcing some brand new content.
Don’t get your hopes up for another sequel though, as that would be very unlikely right now. Either we’ll be getting a The Last Of Us 2 DLC, a look at the new TV show, or as many have speculated we’ll finally get a reveal of the delayed Factions multiplayer mode. The announcement was made alongside some new merch that has also just been released:
“In addition to the merch below, we will be revealing some all-new content on September 26 at 9:00am PT/ 6:00pm CET,” said the Designer of Communications at Naughty Dog, Joshua Bradley. “Be sure to come back and check it out on TheLastofUs.com/TLOUDay.”
For everyone living in between the US West Coast and Central Europe, that will be 12pm ET and 5pm BST. And with the latest Uncharted games finally arriving on PC soon, it’s more likely than ever that eventually, one day, we might, just might, possibly see The Last of Us come to the PC platform too.
What do you think? Will you be tuning into The Last of Us Day? What new content are you hoping to see? DLC? Factions? Or something else? Let us know!
