One of the biggest announcements last week was the official gameplay reveal of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto remasters, which finally gave us a look at what the remastered graphics would be like, and what we can expect. Thankfully, it didn’t take too long for a fan to come up with a better graphics comparison video than Rockstar.
Thanks to HMM Gaming on YouTube, we have a slightly better look at how the new graphics in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition compare to the original versions. The video itself is a little rough around the edges, with mislabeled screenshots and odd editing, but at least it gets the job done:
It’s a shame that Take-Two removed the original games off shelves, but hopefully the new remasters will come with a toggle original graphics button like a lot of remasters these days. Either way, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Editions look noticeably different, but the official PC system requirements are pretty forgiving all things considered.
What do you think? Are you excited for the GTA Trilogy Remasters? How do you feel about the graphics comparison video above? Do you think the remasters look much better? Let us know!
