When we first heard that the next Halo game would have a semi-open world campaign, it sounded a little odd and we couldn’t quite visualize it. Now Microsoft has debuted even more campaign gameplay ahead of the December release, giving us much more details about what we can expect in the official Halo Infinite campaign.

This is a pretty big deal considering the whole reason Halo Infinite was delayed by a whole year before was because of the previous campaign gameplay reveal last year. It’s hard to say whether the quality has improved since then, but the campaign mode is looking far bigger and diverse than we first thought. Check it out below:

Although it looks substantially expanded compared to the gameplay revealed last year, it looks like we might be getting the similar outpost-style gameplay that Ubisoft has recently popularized thanks to Far Cry. Hopefully there’s more to it than that, so we might see some more campaign gameplay before Halo Infinite launches on December 8th.

What do you think? Are you excited for Halo Infinite? How do you feel about the campaign gameplay above? Does it look much better than last year’s? And how do you feel about the gameplay changes? Let us know your thoughts!

What do you think of the Halo Infinite campaign gameplay?

Does Halo Infinite campaign look like it has improved since last year?

I smell DOOM in this game rather than HALO.

I expect the worst, so I can't be disappointed, only happily surprised if this turns out to be good.

I don't et why people are ragging so hard on the graphics? Have you seen the gaudy vomit visual vendetta against human eyes called Godfall? I think it looks solid and even Craig looks nice at the very end of the trailer. A;; it needs now is an awesome kick-ass story and Cortana and we can all be happy.

Ubisoft wishes it could do something remotely at this level.

All of Ubisoft's games are filled with tasks and chores instead of actual gameplay and you can add level-scaling to sell resource packs on top. Ubisoft fcking belongs in the mobile space and it should be fcking dragged and kicked out of PC and console space.

Also don't be fooled by Ubisoft's commitment to PC as they have the most egregious layering of DRM to date. They made a comment at the start of the decade that most PC players are pirates anyway so we don't give a fck about them. You can put lipstick on the pig that is Ubisoft but it ain't going to make it pretty. Actually the pig might have a better chance of looking good than Ubisoft.
