This week will see the launch of the next Call of Duty title, taking us back to era of World War 2. So far the game is looking pretty good, with a lot of graphical features like ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS support. But what about performance? What kind of hardware is needed to run it at its best? We take a look at the Call of Duty: Vanguard PC system requirements...
Thankfully, the COD Vanguard PC specs don't seem too demanding. They're a little more than last year's Black Ops Cold War, but overall it seems like it should perform quite well on modern hardware. Additionally, the storage size at launch has been significantly reduced, likely due to the "new on-demand texture streaming tech". Interestingly, there are no specific requirements for ray tracing.
With that out of the way, let's jump in and take a look at the various Call of Duty Vanguard PC system requirements...
Call of Duty: Vanguard Minimum system requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
- CPU: Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300

Call of Duty: Vanguard will require at least a GTX 1060 or RX 580 graphics card in order to meet the recommended system requirements running on High graphics settings at 1080p resolution. You will also need a Core i5-2500K or Ryzen 5 1600X processor and 12GB of RAM. This setup should then deliver around 60fps performance.
Looking over the minimum system requirements you will need a GTX 960 or RX 470 GPU coupled with either a Core i3-4340 or FX-6300 CPU in order to reach the minimum specs for COD Vanguard, which should run on Low graphics settings at 1080p. You will also need at least 8GB of system memory, which should help to achieve 60fps performance.
Overall, looking at all the specs above, Call of Duty Vanguard will need around a 5 year old PC in order to run at the recommended requirements.

How the !^%# competitive requires more than recommended...It makes no sense, since those who play competitively mostly have 1060-2060 lvl of cards in their systems and tend to lower some settings just so they could get to those smooth 120-144hz/fps
PC Specs
So pretty much have a PC 33% better than the consoles for 4k. Makes sense.
Just waiting for the day I'd be able to get a CPU, Motherboard, RAM and GPU for the double the PS5 MSRP while being 33% better than the PS5. XD
PC Specs
To be fair 4k in those consoles does not mean true 4k, sometimes it is something in between 1440p and 4k on demanding titles
PC Specs
Well still, it's pretty much console specs + 33%
So I'm just waiting for PC hardware of this caliber to come out at good prices.
PC Specs
What is this 'Competitive' sys reqs? Don't tell me this is going to be a thing as well.
PC Specs
Probably something around 80-100 fps.
PC Specs
Yeah but why do we even need that. This is the PC platform. We get to decide what we are comfortable with. Some people absolutely need to have 120 fps while some people are fine with 60. This is subjective.
PC Specs
What's so bad about getting more detailed system requirements?
PC Specs
I think this is ok, but not the majority will play at over 100 fps anyway but nice to have more detailed reqsas Ilja8 says
PC Specs
same specs as beta version
