This year, IO Interactive’s latest entry in the Hitman series was a major success, and since then fans have been eager for more content. Unsurprisingly, IOI has announced another year of content for Hitman 3, officially starting on January 20th 2022, with more details on upcoming content arriving in Spring 2022.
Although not many details have been revealed so far about what’s to come to Hitman 3 in 2022, what has been revealed at the moment is official PC VR support, ray tracing support, and a mysterious mode called “Elusive Target Arcade.” Check out the announcement video below:
That “Elusive Target Arcade” mode sounds like an updated version of the Elusive Targets game mode, described as a “change to the established formula” and will even be permanent additions to the game (whether that means offline play or no more limited-time content or even both is unclear). More details are once again coming in early January 2022.
Year 2 of content for Hitman 3 will start on January 20th 2022, “with post-launch support confirmed for another 12 months.” This includes “new maps, storylines, modes and ways to play”, something which the community has also been asking for since the game launched earlier this year.
There’s also a “major update” planned for the game in Spring 2022, which will apparently include something the fans have been asking for a long time now. There’s a lot of possibilities as to what this actually could be, so let us know what you think it is in the Discussions area below!
