For a long while, the next entry in the Dying Light series was one of the most anticipated games of the past few years. After rumors of development issues and a recent delay, Dying Light 2 is finally launching next year in February 2022. With that, the developers have been slowly revealing more details, the latest being 16 minutes of brand new gameplay.

The latest Dying Light 2 gameplay takes place during a quest called “A Place To Call Home”, with one of the characters that was recently revealed to be played by Rosario Dawson. Although it’s not exactly 'uncut' gameplay, it does show off the most exciting and interesting bits, namely combat and exploration/parkour. Check it out below:

It’s clear that the developers have made some changes to the way parkour is handled this time round. Whatever reservations you may have on the gameplay though let us know! But as always, we won’t truly know how it feels until we get to play it ourselves when Dying Light 2 comes out February 4th, 2022.

What do you think? Are you excited for Dying Light 2? How do you think it looks based on the gameplay above? How do you feel about the combat and exploration/parkour? Do you have any worries? Or is it still one of your most anticipated games? Let us know!

What do you think of the latest Dying Light 2 gameplay?

All those delays for over two years are worrying. The first game is great, but i hope this doesn't turn like Bloodlines 2 and all of it's controversy.

Do people really never learn? It hasn't even been a year since CP 2077. And now you again say "GOTY" just from 15min upscaled gameplay?...

Look, mate. It's okay to be sceptical of all studios after being hurt by CDPR, but you can't just assume that every game after cyberpunk is going to be a a terrible mess. Just don't play it then. There's no need to stomp on other's excitement for a game who's predecessor was GOTY material.

He's right though. The right game will come for you as well. Don't remember what it was for me but I have absolutely 0 confidence in game companies these days unless they are making the same thing but with new stuff (Monster Hunter, Souls) but even then I'm going to wait for reviews and user feedback.

The facial animation is god awful. I saw better Facial animation in Half Life 2 back in 2004. This is genuinely 2003 quality facial animation.

I genuinely agree. The facial animations are awful.
