The highly anticipated and upcoming sequel to Dying Light is just a few weeks away now, and over the past year the developers at Techland have been giving small glimpses into the actual gameplay thanks to their Dying 2 Know series. In their final episode, the developers showed off some co-op gameplay along with a brand new launch trailer.
Dying Light 2 is just 3 weeks away now, launching on February 4th 2022. In their latest Dying 2 Know episode Techland showed off some co-op gameplay along with a new launch trailer that shows off a little bit of everything they have revealed so far, as well as a few heartfelt messages from the developers reflecting on the process up until launch.

There’s a lot of exciting stuff in there for fans who have been eagerly anticipating DL2 over the years, though if you’re like me then your heart may have stopped for a second when one of the presenters mentioned there was “bad news” at the start of the episode, as if another delay was incoming. Either way, if you just want to watch the new launch trailer on its own in all its glory then check it out below:
Unfortunately, that’s it from Dying 2 Know, so we won’t be getting another episode before the game launches in a few weeks. Just like the presenters mentioned, on the one hand that means we won’t be seeing anymore gameplay or sneak peeks before release, but on the other it means we’re even closer to launch.
What do you think? Are you excited for Dying Light 2? How do you feel about the co-op sneak peek? Will you be playing the game in co-op at launch? Or purely single player for your first playthrough? Let us know!

I'll try the co-op if my buddy can also get it. Meanwhile I need to finish DL1. I've picked it up in 2014 or whenever it came out, but I didn't have time at the time.

I don't think if I understand what's going on. co-op for the story mode? totally unbelievable. at least there is no way it's offline co-op right? has to be online I think considering that the game is actually hardware demanding. and how exactly is co-op gonna work in a game where you make decisions that will have impact in the future?

Borderlands series, Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Nothing new there.

Exactly how it worked in the first game, only difference is the host's world will differ from your own due to their choices.
