LEGO games have a very special place in most people's hearts these days, bringing us a sweet nostalgia trip to our childhoods. However, Warner Brothers has been slowly changing the original formula with a more modern gameplay formula and open world structure, as well as much prettier graphics.

Thankfully, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is not too far off, launching on April 5th 2022. Additionally, WB Games has also revealed the official PC system requirements which are about as low as you would expect from a LEGO game, despite the snazzier graphics in the latest installment.

IDK I kinda still expect lego games to require a GPU as strong as the PS2 or PS3/Xbox360 to run. XD

I wonder when we'll see ray tracing pop up in Lego games. I haven't followed the Lego games development closely, but from these trailers, it does look like textures and models are well upgraded and the lighting and reflections are quite decent. Low requirements yet looking absolutely good for the style it is going for is a key selling point.

Oh, I understand and obviously see that they are looking better and better, especially the non-character models, it's just that the minimalistic art style and having played the old games as a kid and not the new ones, just makes me expect that they'd run on a PS2 GPU XD

Kind of surprised it doesn't have Ray Tracing tbh. Lego is exactly the kind of stuff ray tracing looks incredibly with, especially coupled with Star Wars

Considering the hell the dev team went through to make the game happen, I can't be mad about no Rey-tracing.
