If you're in the mood for a brand new fighting game, then Warner Brothers has got you covered with their upcoming beat-em-up featuring iconic characters from the Warner Bros brand. But how demanding is it? And what kind of hardware is needed to run Multiversus at its best?

Multiversus is officially launching in 2022, and thankfully will be entirely free-to-play. Since a Closed Alpha is coming on May 19th to 27th (you can sign up here), WB Games have revealed the official PC system requirements so far. If you don't manage to get into the Alpha though don't worry, as an Open Beta is planned for July 2022!

Multiversus minimum system requirements - 60fps/Low settings/720p

Multiversus recommended system requirements - 60fps/High settings/1080p

In order to run Multiversus on High graphics settings your PC will need at least a GTX 660 or R9 270 graphics card paired with either a Core i3-3470 or Ryzen 3 1200 processor. This will then deliver 60fps performance at 1080p resolution. You will also need at least 8GB of RAM to meet the recommended system requirements.

Multiversus needs a GPU that is at least as powerful as a GTX 550 Ti or HD 5850 coupled with a Core i5-2300 or FX-8350 CPU in order to match the minimum system requirements. This will then achieve around 60fps on Low graphics settings at 720p resolution. Minimum amount of system memory needed is 4GB

Overall, looking at the specs above we suggest around a 9 year old PC in order to play the Multiversus Closed Alpha at its best.

As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the Multiversus System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarks and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Multiversus GPU benchmark chart and we also have a Multiversus Frames Per Second system performance chart for you to check.

Why is it so cpu demanding? Very strange.

the odd low-end CPU requirements are paired with their respective integrated graphics. the CPU requirements arent high, it's showing the minimum for integrated graphics.
