And just like clockwork Activision has announced when the next game in the Call of Duty series will be officially launching. We still haven’t got an official trailer or gameplay yet, but at least we now know when it will be released, and also who will be returning in the highly anticipated sequel.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is officially launching on October 28th. The sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature the return of fan favorite characters such as Captain Price, Soap Mactavish, Ghost, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, and Alejandro Vargas. You can check out the release date announcement trailer below:
Just like every other Call of Duty game of the past few years, we’ll likely get a full reveal soon and the usual Warzone tie-in event. Some leaked details from Call of Duty: Vanguard’s files reveal an Open Beta launching first on PlayStation, with the usual Deluxe and Special Editions offering early access to that same Beta.
What do you think? Are you excited for Call of Duty MW2? Which returning character is your favorite? Or do you not really play the campaigns anymore? And when do you think the Open Beta will start? Let us know your thoughts!

Please stop I'm tired of mediocre shooter games, take 3-4 years break

MW2019 is the best CoD to date though, but the next two are just worse versions of it, but I really like a lot of Vanguard's multiplayer maps, especially Casablanca.
