If you feel like picking up a weapon and shooting some good ole nazis in the head, then there are plenty of games to choose from, but not a whole lot of them are currently completely free. Thankfully, the Epic Games Store has come through once again as one of the best AAA shooters in recent years is now available to grab for absolutely nothing.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is free on the Epic Games Store this week, following the mystery free games that Epic is giving away for Summer 2022. So far they’ve been pretty good, with Borderlands 3 starting off the free game giveaways, followed by BioShock: The Collection last week. Unfortunately, we won’t know what the next free game is until next Thursday.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order reignites the series that created the first-person shooter genre. Set against a backdrop of an alternate 1960s, discover an unfamiliar world ruled by a familiar enemy—one that has changed and twisted history as you know it.

--------------

So that’s it for this week’s free game on the Epic Games Store. Next week’s free game is another mystery title, so we won’t know what it is until Thursday next week.

What do you think? Will you be picking up your free copy of Wolfenstein The New Order? Or have you got/played it already? If so, what did you think of it? And what do you think next week's free game will be? Let us know!

Will you be grabbing your free copy of Wolfenstein The New Order?

I honestly don't know how stuff like that is even news worthy...

Am I supposed to be lured over to use a program that I don't want or need on my PC for a 8 year old game that would cost me ~2,50€ to buy a key for?

I wasn't even login and logged in to tell you then if its not for you then just skip. These posts help me to make a nice collection of games whenever I reenter in this hobby in some years. Hence i like these articles. Have you ever thought that world doesn't revolve around you.

Thank for you saying this! I don't even remember there is a free game every week 90% of the time, so posts like this are fantastic.

I don't know how you come to that conclusion or why you feel the need to attack me, but I was just stating my opinon that I don't know why this is news worthy. It's quite an old game that people, that wanted to play it, could've bought over the past several years for cheap if they wanted to. Also there are free games on other platforms all the time as well, but there are never any news about that... So why is this news worthy while other free games get ignored?

Yes, you can buy keys from shops such as allkeyshop and the well known g2a, for very cheap. From what I've read online, the legitimacy of the keys themselves are sometimes questionable (e.g. bought with a stolen credit card). Imo it's better to wait for a summer/winter sale, because sometimes, those are priced even lower (example being Euro Truck Simulator 2 DLC or Mirror's Edge bundle).
