Sony made a surprise announcement during their PlayStation State of Play June 2022 showcase, revealing a PC version for their critically acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man series. Finally the title is available for pre-order, and with it Sony revealed the official PC features, as well as the system specs...

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is officially launching on August 12th, and thankfully won't require a superpowered PC to run. The Remastered version on PC includes support for ray traced reflections as well as Nvidia's DLSS and DLAA. Hopefully, the spiderman PC specs will remain the same for Marvels Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which will be released soon after in the Fall of 2022.

So let's swing right in and take a look at the Marvels Spiderman Remastered PC system requirements...

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC specs

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Minimum system requirements - 720p/30fps/Very Low graphics

*PC specs only listed an Intel CPU, so we chose the closest matching AMD hardware based on the description provided. Let us know if you think there is a much closer alternative!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Recommended system requirements - 1080p/60fps/Medium graphics

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Very High system requirements - 4K/60fps/Very High graphics

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Ray Tracing specs

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Amazing Ray Tracing system requirements - 1440p/60fps (or 4K/30fps)/High graphics/Ray Tracing High

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Ultimate Ray Tracing system requirements - 4K/60fps/High graphics/Ray Tracing Very High

In order to run Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on Medium graphics settings your PC will need at least a GTX 1060 or RX 580 graphics card paired with a Core i5-4670 or Ryzen 5 1600 processor. This will then deliver 60fps performance at 1080p resolution. You will also need at least 16GB of RAM.

Looking at the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered minimum system requirements you will need a GTX 950 or RX 470 GPU, which should be coupled with either a Core i3-4160 or FX-6300 CPU, running at 30fps performance on Very Low graphics settings at 720p resolution. 8GB of system memory is needed at minimum.

Overall, looking at the specs above, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will need around a 6 year old PC to play at the recommended level.

It's the way it seems to be going. I rememember ryzen 1700x days when they didn't optimize for 8 cores, at all. Now it's changed drastically, plus PS4 and Ps5 and series x all being 8 cores, it's much easier.

Big busy modern open worlds really chew through the CPU, tbh

If it doesn't, you'll likely be able to mod in FSR 2.0 via a DLSS swap mod like this (there are many for various games, but the implementations aren't on par with what the devs could do)

I would prefer it to be native but yeah mods are a life saver sometime :D

I really hope more and more games just put FSR from the start!
