It’s not too long now until the highly anticipated PC port of Insomniac’s web-slinging superhero finally arrives, and luckily for us some of the first gameplay has been released online, which means we can take a direct look at how the graphics on PC compare to the current-gen PlayStation 5, as well as the PlayStation 4…

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered launches on Friday for most people. The PC system requirements were not too demanding, but PC ports generally look better than their console counterparts. However, the PS5 is a pretty powerful piece of hardware, and ElAnalistaDeBits on YouTube has highlighted the major differences in graphics for each version:

Additionally, VGC has released some screenshots of the PC version, and luckily have tried to capture the same moment as best they can on the PlayStation 5. As such, we also now have some handy comparison sliders to better see the exact differences between the PC and PS5 Fidelity Mode versions:

Spiderman PC graphics comparison

You can see how the PC version clearly has better lighting than the PlayStation 5 in pretty much every scenario. But it is still incredible how good the PS5 version looks, even with ray tracing enabled (as seen in the video above). Either way, it’s clear that Spiderman PC is definitely the definitive way to play the much-loved title.

What do you think? Are you excited for Marvels Spiderman Remastered? What do you think of the graphics comparison? Were you expecting much better graphics than the PS5? Are you surprised how similar they are? Let us know!

What do you think of the Spiderman PC graphics?

Were you hoping for much better graphics than PS5 version?

I'm telling you this because I had a sleeve gastrectomy, which was simple and painless with only seven small incisions and a quick recovery. to immediately be able to walk and resume my normal activities, but eating and drinking has been and continues to be very difficult. Graphics look really good. I just hope they manage to keep decent optimization for this port. So far most of sony ports seemed to manage maintain really good performance.

Nixxes are handling the port for this one, half baked isn't what they do... :) and judging by the level of granular control that Digital Foundry highlighted in their optimisation guide there are plenty of ways to up that fps and/or quality without too much compromise.
