If there’s one takeaway from the highly anticipated and upcoming Soviet-era FPS RPG, it’s that it looks completely and utterly bonkers. And just in case it didn’t look weird enough for you before, the latest trailer from Gamescom 2022 surely will convince you otherwise. Plus, it’s now launching a little sooner than we expected!

Atomic Heart doesn’t actually have an official release date yet, but the developers at Mundfish have revealed it will be releasing in “late 2022” at least. The official Steam page says “Q4 2022”, so it’s safe to say that we can expect it sometime around October-December 2022. That’s a bit earlier than many might have thought given the long swathes of silence between updates.

Thankfully, the latest combat trailer gives us a deeper look into the FPS combat we can expect in Atomic Heart, like the gunplay, melee combat, and special abilities/powers. It’s also totally wild, as usual, which is perhaps one of its most appealing factors. Plus, who doesn’t love a bit of Mick Gordon whilst beating up weird monstrosities?

What do you think? Are you excited for Atomic Heart? How do you feel about the gameplay shown off above? Does it look better or worse than last time? Let us know your thoughts!

I get paid over 💵200$💵 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 💵10k💵 a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I've been doing..

:) AND GOOD LUCK.:)

Hopefully this is something that won't be affected by sanctions. I was kinda looking forward to this game and lost hope once the war started. For this and STALKER 2 (although tbh, STALKER 2 jumping on to the NFT bandwagon kinda ruined it for me).

Now THIS is a game I'd buy day1... Even if it has some bugs here and there - there's just nothing like this on the market. I really like the aesthetic (alt-soviet Bioshock), the music choices, the fact that they showed a lot so far (not just pure CGI like we saw tons of in gamescom) and, at the very least, this game seems to excite me - something that few games manage these days.

A first person combat game where you can't see anything due to the overload of effects, etc. Looks a bit asset store like too.

I kind of forgot about his game. They started marketing this game far too early. Let's see how it launches.

Not like every company pays taxes to the russian government that's funding the war.

Yeah, figured you'd be that guy and blanket-hate... As if everyone should just stop working to avoid paying taxes (or face consequences), otherwise be seen as funding the war. Those evil evil Russian devs... Logic.

Next time your government does something stupid (poisons people, starts a war, profiteers, etc) - remember that YOU paid taxes, therefore you must be responsible for everything.

If the average russian citizen doesn't feel economic pressure/ change, why would they need to change as things are. The government should represent the people. It's the only hope other governments have to see change in russian leadership. Is the random russian citizen at fault? Probably not, but you can't say russian voters aren't partially at fault.

If you knew anything about history or politics, you'd know that "voting" is not really a thing in Russia, nor any other communist/dictator states. Pootin has effectively been in power for the last 25+ years - no "voting" necessary.

Then you have to consider the propaganda factor. Even the most well-meaning citizens are under strict information control in many ways, so even if they "willfully" voted for Putin - it's very likely because they are misinformed, or the other "choice" seems worse (again, due to the misinformation). This is business as usual in such countries that control the flow of information.

Lastly - it's highly debatable whether or not strangling ordinary people for the deeds of a sole despotic dictator is the right thing to do. I understand that many people are quick to dehumanize others, especially when they live in a different country and speak a different language, when a select group there starts doing stupid crap, but "fvck them all and maybe the dictator will fall" isn't the right approach either. Imagine if you worked your rear off to make a living and then, suddenly, your "president" decides to start a war and the entire nation, including yourself, starts getting hated for it, your business is crewed because you can no longer take or make payments and you're in a dire situation. Would you feel like it was fair and you deserved it?

Be reasonable.

This game looks so fcking cool! That's how showcase a game by showing a sh!t ton of gameplay and the cool is just the cherry on top. Also I beat the link posting scammers by being the first to comment. Yippe-ka-yay!
