The first details for Battlefield 3 End Game have started to appear.
Slated for release in March this year, until now all we'd really had to go on was a comment from an EA-spokesperson that the add-on was going to feature a "character in the jungle, Apocalypse Now-style"...
Finally, new features have appeared and we want you all to know about them:
Four new maps designed for high speed combat and action
Three new vehicles including the fast and agile dirt bikes
New dropship provides support to ground troops with vehicle drop capabilities
Return of the classic Capture The Flag game mode
So I don't know about you, but from all this, I'm getting... 'fast-paced'. The emphasis seems to be on ragging around the combat zone as fast as you can, blazing away with your guns from the back of scramblers (as seen in the accompanying trailer), and cackling madly as enemy soldiers are crushed beneath a tank dropping from the skies, all as the scenery whizzes past. For me, this sounds like the kind of DLC that will cause my shot accuracy to plummet even lower...
