No official release date has been given yet for this fully licensed superhero MMO. But the attention it is getting at the moment is certainly hotting up.

The DC Universe Online Beta has been announced and registration can now be made over at DCUO headquarters.

DCUO Pre-Orders can also now be placed here.

The DC Universe Minimum system requirements were  spotted over on the download medium Direct2Drive very recently by one of our own hawkeyed superheroes. We would have added a link but D2D have removed it already. We dont know how accurate this information is but figured we would put it up for you to decide.

* Operating System: Windows XP 32-bit
* Processor: 2.4+ GHZ Dual Core
* RAM: 2 GB
* Video Card: NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+
* Hard Disc Space: 30 GB

Using this as a basis we have added projected recommended system requirements to our site but these will be amended as more information becomes available.

Finally the new DCUO cinematic trailer is awesome. Check it out on our game detail page here. At the end of the trailer they mention that on Friday night on 23rd july at 12:30 there will be an exclusive trailer released.
