Your Sims are now trying to make sure you live a responsible life and keep your teeth clean, with the latest sponsored DLC for Simcity.

Of course, there's only one way to get this new content - buying specially marked packs of toothpaste products...

Now, opening up a cereal box for a toy has been a staple of our generation, not to mention the great toys we got in Happy Meals. Toothpaste then is something of a move away from the usual avenues for freebies.

To take advantage of this offer you will have to live in the US, and be able to find one of the marked packs of toothpaste products, which you can then redeem. There's actually a range of rewards; the entire Attractions Set DLC, a $5 Origin store voucher or in game cash for The Sims Social - you know, that game they're shutting down in 2 months.

The Attractions DLC includes various attractions (duh) that increase the happiness of your Sims as well as promoting tourism for your city. What are these attractions? World famous landmarks, such as a Giant Garden Gnome and the Worlds Largest Ball of Twine.

I'm honestly not sure where this DLC train is going to be honest. You can see the Nissan advert hitting a target market, but Toothpaste seems somewhat...wide ranging. It's also impossible to buy this DLC without the vouchers, so if you're not a US resident or not an brand toothpaste user, you're somewhat out of luck.

Want to see something thats pretty funny? Click the blue toothpaste marketing image up there to expand it. You will see that those guys in the toothpaste marketing department may not have actually played the game, as they have put the SimCity game boxes next to a PS3/Xbox 360 and surely every gamer knows you cant get SimCity on a console, right? So thats false advertising right? Two giant companies come together to promote collective products and this slips through the quality control net? They only had two things to add, toothepaste and the game. Fail!

Are you guys avid toothpaste lovers? Will this DLC make you change from your favorite brand of toothpaste? Tell us below!

It's lovely how it even reads on those boxes 'PC' and the "Xbox 360 version" is the Limited Edition :D
"Are you guys avid toothpaste lovers?" That's a tough one... Yeah I use it but I wouldn't call it 'love' :P
