Some building games are easier than others - in many popular games like SimCity, you don't even do the building, they just magically appear.
Building and Designing though is an art, a skill, and one that will be tested when you're making prisons. If you want to hone your skills though, you'll have to play the game - lets have a look at the early access Prison Architect System Requirements...
Prison Architect Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 6000+
RAM: 4GB System Memory
GPU: GeForce 8600 GT or ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT
DX: DirectX 9.0c
HDD: 100 MB Free Hard Drive Space
It's a truly tiny game, but at this stage of development still needs a hefty 4GB of RAM. Prison Architect is in Early Access, which means the requirements should drop over time as the game is optimised.
If you hadn't worked it out, the game involves you creating and running your own prison, keeping the prisoners happy enough and stopping riots when they happen.
So, is this sort of simulation your cup of tea? Are you curious to see just how hard it can be to run a prison? Tell us your thoughts below.
