There are some games which very admirably don't try to be for everyone. Rising Storm, the sequel to Red Orchestra 2, is one of those games.
The game is brutal to you, Friendly Fire is always on, and the lethality is very high - which is what makes it so fun! If you're curious, make sure you can run the game first with our Rising Storm System Requirements...

A reasonable set of requirements for a modern FPS, and it should be playable on many laptops as well.
Rising Storm, like Red Orchestra 2, is a very deadly game; it only takes a few bullets to kill someone, and a person standing is a person dead. This does however add a lot more weight to each life, as staying alive for a long time is an impressive feat.
The game will be set in the Pacific Islands, with the US Army fighting the Japanese troops. The setting is quite a change, from the icy, ruined cities of RO2 to this new thick jungle.
The game is 25% off for those who own Red Orchestra 2, and it's only £15 even without the discount, so a strong multiplayer shooter for the price.
