Killer Is Dead is another game from SUDA 51, the designer of various games such as killer7 and Lollipop Chainsaw, and it's suitably crazy.

To make sure you get the most of this stylistically brutal game, you'll want to pick up the Fan Edition or the Limited Edition; which both have bonuses for the Gigolo mode...

Both editions will feature the "Smooth Operator" pack, which contains an extra mission as well as bonuses to the Gigolo mode:

 - An additional mission: Episode 51 - The Man Who Stole Blood

 - A mysterious beauty named Betty for Gigolo Mode

 - Gigolo Glasses: Mondo Zappa will receive special glasses that grants X-Ray vision, allowing him to reap extra enjoyment from the beauties in Gigolo Mode

 - An as yet unannounced item perfect for summer

It hasn't been detailed exactly what Gigolo mode will consist of, but I think we can assume a lot given the above. SUDA 51 has said before that he's not afraid of putting sexual content into his games, calling it "a big taboo". It has been stated before that the US regulators have an unusual attitude towards sexual content, which colors many games set for release in the West.

The Limited Edition will only come with the above Smooth Operator pack, and will be priced at £49.99.

The Fan edition gets a few more goodies, including a poster, an art book and the full soundtrack for the game on CD. Naturally, it will also get exclusive packaging, so everyone will know you're a true fan! This edition is priced at £54.99.

The editions will be released at the same time as the main game on August 30th, for Xbox 360 and PS3 only.

So what do you think, would you rather have more games with love than violence in them? What about these special editions, does anything take your fancy? Tell us below!
