Metal Gear Solid hasn't been on PC for quite some time. The last MGS title on PC was Metal Gear Solid 2 and that was about 12 years ago.
Before you say it, yes, Konami have announced Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is coming to PC, but thats a Metal Gear Rising game and doesnt count ;). In an E3 press interview, Kojima talked about a possible release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on PC, so its time to be excited...
“Of course we are developing on a PC, so we look forward to releasing something on the PC sometime,” said Kojima. “But right now we don’t have a release date. We aren’t really looking to do that right now. That’s not a priority. So, we are making it and we hope to put it out as well.”
Ok so no need to get too excited, but it does sound like it should happen. So thats cool.
If Metal Gear Solid V eventually comes to PC, we will know that Konami is warming up to PC, as they are traditionally a "Develop only on consoles" type of company.
Do you guys think that this will come to PC? Or will it stay a Console Exclusive? And does this open up to other console exclusives to be released on PC?
