Formula 1 racing is some of the most intense, high speed action out there, with the slightest mistake destroying your chance of victory (and probably your car too!).
If you're a fan, you must be looking forward to October's release of F1 2013, and getting your hands on that wheel again; if you can run it of course. Find out in our F1 2013 System Requirements...
F1 2013 Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows Vista 32bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 4800+
RAM: 2GB System Memory
GPU: GeForce 8600 GT or ATI Radeon HD 2600
DX: DirectX 11
HDD: 15 GB Free Hard Drive Space
F1 2013 Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: Intel i7-920 2.67GHz or AMD Athlon II X4 760K
RAM: 4GB System Memory
GPU RAM: 1GB Graphics Memory
GPU: GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon HD 6790
DX: DirectX 11
Once again, a slightly odd set of requirements; not least because the 8600 GT definitely doesn't support DX 11! Still, that minor point aside, the minimum requirements are reasonable, even if the game will take up a sizeable portion of your hard drive. If you want the real action though, be prepared to make your PC sweat, as the recommended requirements look like they can stretch many PC's!
Formula One 2013 isn't just about the latest in racing; you'll also get a load of classic circuits and cars to race with, all of which will be commentated by the legendary Murray Walker. Naturally, there's a wealth of enhancements to the usual recipe, including even more game modes!

do people actually play F1 games?
PC Specs
yes a lot of people I used to play F1 2010 once and F1 Online(which is closed now),they are pretty good games and I like them,I think they are the only one of this kind.
PC Specs
u should add a "credits to Slavepetrich for spotting this" at the end
PC Specs
They will use EGO engine 3.0 , same engine like Grid 2

I really dislike the games. The sport itself is fine but the "simulations" are very unrealistic. Like driving in a straight line then flipping as soon as you start turning the wheel.. I hope this one is better..
PC Specs
That is the realistic handling of a F1 car.
PC Specs
What so F1 cars flip as soon as they start cornering? Even faster than the speeds they are meant to be going at they never flip.. its the game's physics engine not be realistic. Some things like spinning I know are true but the cars would never flip at optimal cornering speeds.
PC Specs
What have you been playing?! F1 Cars never flip on f1 2012. You must be playing some indie f1 game...
PC Specs
It was definitely F1 2012.. I bought it off amazon, sealed. The loading screens said F1 2012 so it was definitely 2012..
PC Specs
Knowing Codies, this game will be well optimized!
:D
