Fable 3 pc system requirements have been announced. Minimum requirements seem like an easy entry point. Most systems bought new within the past two to three years should be able to get the game running.

Recommended system requirements for Fable 3 jump up quite high though. As more information comes to light we will adjust our system requirement tool (found on the game page) over time to better reflect the real world requirements for the game.

Fable III Minimum System Requirements:

OS: XP 32bit SP3, Vista 32 or 64 bit, Win 7 32 or 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz or AMD Athlon X2 4000+
RAM: 2GB
Hard Disk Space: 12 GB
GFX: NVidia 7600GT or ATI HD 2600 Pro
DX: 9.0c onward
Network: Multiplayer requires internet or LAN

Fable III Recommended System Requirements:

OS: Win 7
CPU: Intel 2.9Ghz Core 2 Duo or higher
RAM: 4GB
GFX: Nvidia 260GTX 896MB or ATI 5770 1GB or higher
[Recommended requirements are often listed as the system you would require to get the game running at a constantly good frame rate with graphical features turned up possibly to maximum, possibly on a large screen resolution etc. These can sometimes be expensive dream machines. However, you do not always need such a powerful machine to get the game to a playable and fun state. See below]

[Game-Debates Requirements are what we think you can get Fable III running comfortably on. For example, you may not be able to turn anti-aliasing on but the game will still play and look just great at your standard resolution. Fable 3 PC release date is scheduled for 17th May 2011 in the US and 20th May elsewhere
