Warner Brothers have delivered Batman to us twice before and both times the Dark Knight knocked the stuffing out of us, in a good way. This time we are promised more gadgets, more detective skills, more bad guys and I dare say more punching.

Arkham Origins takes us back to the time when the city was known as...Gotham City. One thing we want to make sure of is that you can run Batman Arkham Origins, this way to see the system requirements...

Arkham Origins System Requirement Summary

Some pretty solid Arkham Origins system requirements, with a GTX 560 or HD 6950 recommended GFX and we will be watching to see if Origins suffers the DX11 debacle that Batman Arkham City encountered during release. Its one thing to brag about awesome DX 11 particle goodness. Its bat shit on your face when turning the DX 11 option on grinds even the most powerful computer into a world of crap optimisation. 

Batman Arkham Origins will have the same game engine as Batman Arkham City so the likelihood is that DX 11 will be enabled and working correctly this time around. But it definitely seemed to cause quite a problem for gamers playing Arkham City.

Arkham Origins Game Details

Arkham Origins takes place before the previous two titles and sets the game in the classic Gotham City. You will play as a fledgling Dark Knight learning your way around crime fighting and getting to meet the key characters we all know and love, for the first time.

We are promised Penguin, Deathstroke, Black Mask, Anarky, Captain Gordon and the mighty Bane. Oh and we could never forget to mention, The Joker

The detective mode will be more involving this time as well. With the player having to search through possible evidence to find key clues.

Gotham will have "crimes-in-progress" where a player can attempt to reach and interact with the crime, to thwart the evil doers found around the city.

One of the new gadgets we are informed about is the Remote Claw. Think "Just Cause 2 mayhem" as you strung grappling hook targets to one another or even distant moving objects. You know what I am talking about.
