Flying Wild Hogs and Devolver Digital’s re-imagining of the classic 90s shooter Shadow Warrior is eagerly anticipated for those who prefer their shooters unabashedly old-school.

The reboot is obviously significantly more demanding than its Duke Nukem 3D aping predecessor, so if you want to know if your hardware is up to date and how it will look on your PC, check out our Shadow Warrior System Requirements...

Shadow Warrior Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon X2 5600+

RAM: 2GB System Memory

GPU: RAM: 512MB Graphics Memory

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or AMD Radeon HD 3870

DX: DirectX 9.0c

HDD: 8 GB Free Hard Drive Space

Shadow Warrior Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows 7 64bit

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 8200 or AMD Phenom X4 9950

RAM: 4GB System Memory

GPU RAM: 1GB Graphics Memory

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or ATI Radeon HD 4890

This throwback to the shooters of yesteryear doesn't look overly demanding for most rigs out there, provided you're sporting a trusty GeForce 8800 GT or above, you should be able to get the most out of the 'advanced fish physics' and 'fully-destructible bicycles'  available in this firmly tongue-in-cheek homage,

To get the game running at higher settings needs a reasonably specced rig, but nothing is overly demanding. It's fair to say that Shadow Warrior isn't trying to push graphics boundaries, so if you've got a relatively recent system you shouldn't struggle too much with getting all of the best 'wangtastic' features out of this one.

Yeah the GTX 460 performs better... I would have selected HD5830 since the performance is more similar and those cards were released in the same year :D
